Since the early 90s, when there were few technical concepts for flexing cables in most of Asia Pacific region, Gore has been introducing advanced technologies to regional automation cable market and contributing to the expansion of the technology base of related industries through its branches and partners in the region.
In 2023, Gore developed a self-supporting cable system (GORE® Trackless High Flex Cables), the world's first flexing cable solution for clean room environments that do not allow particulation, such as semiconductor and display manufacturing processes, and it was the beginning of a family of products now referred to as “clean cables” in the industry.
